We allow both of them to play in the room, but they can't come find us until the magic 7 appears. Oh, and I should add that the clock is set back a half an hour. So seven on their clock is really 7:30. Did I mention what GOOD parents we are???

I also know someone who pre-poured cereal and put the bowl on the table along with a pre-poured cup of milk on the lowest shelf on the fridge. Chloe is JUUUUUST about old enough that I would be tempted. But right now, she knows she can open the fridge, it has just never occurred to her to take anything out of it. I am afraid to suggest that to her!

Good luck!
CherylMorganFamilyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12189379209613809280noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-139758778177867121.post-15691714163544002292010-11-11T20:35:30.560-08:002010-11-11T20:35:30.560-08:00A friend of mine has a digital alarm clock in her ...A friend of mine has a digital alarm clock in her daughter's room, and taped numbers to it for the time she can come out of her room in the morning... That way the daughter doesn't have to be able to tell time, but can just wait until the numbers on the clock match the numbers on her sign. I've thought about trying it, but our two share a room, so as soon as the big one gets up, his little sister is right behind him. And our wakeup call is usually the two year old pounding on our door screaming "Mommy! Daddy! Hungry!" over and over again ;) I used to get up about an hour and a half before the kids so I could get stuff done before they were up... that lasted maybe 2 weeks!Frugally Naturalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16682616654379601628noreply@blogger.com
